With the opening of a new Taco Bell restaurant at Ashton Moss Leisure Park, Ashton under Lyne, the entrance required a commercial matting system capable of managing the high levels of customer traffic associated with a busy restaurant environment. The system needed to effectively control dirt and moisture at the point of entry, helping to maintain consistently high standards of cleanliness and safety from day one.
In addition to performance and durability, the entrance matting needed to complement Taco Bell's visual standards and contribute to a clean, professional and welcoming first impression for customers. The solution also needed to withstand the operational demands of a busy restaurant while providing reliable long term performance.

The Solution

High Performance Entrance Matting with FRONTRUNNER SB+

To meet the demands of the busy restaurant environment, Excel Matting supplied and installed the FRONTRUNNER SB+ commercial entrance matting system within the recessed mat well at the Taco Bell entrance. The system was selected to provide effective dirt and moisture control while withstanding the regular customer traffic associated with a busy restaurant.
FRONTRUNNER SB+ combines an engineered scraping surface with absorbent carpet inserts to help remove dirt and moisture from footwear at the point of entry, reducing the amount of contamination transferred onto internal floor areas.
Installed as a fixed entrance matting solution, the system provides a durable and professional entrance designed for long term performance while helping to maintain cleaner internal floors and reduce ongoing maintenance requirements.
