With the opening of a new Taco Bell restaurant in Ashton Moss Leisure Park, Ashton-under-Lyne, Manchester, there was a clear requirement for an entrance matting solution capable of managing the high levels of foot traffic anticipated. The challenge was to implement a system that would effectively control the ingress of dirt and moisture, ensuring consistently high standards of cleanliness and safety from day one.
In addition to functional performance, the solution needed to align with the brand’s visual standards, contributing to a clean, professional, and welcoming first impression for customers while supporting the operational demands of a busy quick-service environment.

High-Performance Entrance Matting SB+

To meet the demands of the restaurant environment, Excel Mattings UK Manufactured SB+ system was selected and installed within a recessed mat well at the site. Engineered for superior scrape and dry performance the SB+ system effectively removes dirt and moisture at the point of entry significantly reducing the transfer of contaminants into internal areas.
